Hello. is bosch iredium +4 a good plug for my 02 c320 wagon?thanks

 

I talked to my coworker who drives a C320 and he uses "FR8DPP33+" and partnumber is "W0133-1826683". He said the expensive ones really don't make a difference and I remember once I read that those real expensive spark plugs really don't make a difference on Merc as well.

This was maybe 5 -6 years ago that I read this. Maybe technology has changed? Anyone can chime in on the spark plugs if the "high performance" ones really do make a difference for Merc?

I highly doubt it would. I think nothing beats OEM

Yeah I'd stick with OEM, I just used NGK G-power. I think some engines came with Bosch +2 and others are NGK G.

 

Use Bosch OE - no messing with plugs

 

i put in NGK iridiums it was at spec. more response but bad MPG! im changing back to OE on my next service.

 

I changed my spark plugs to these i believe... If these are the ones that are 9.99 a plug lol..

They have 4 prongs on the bottom of them.. Car seemed to be smoother with these plugs..

ppl will say not to put 4 prong plugs in our car but w/e i did car runs great
