Laughed my head off this afternoon!

As I was coming home from school today, I pulled up to the light . The road was three lanes wide. In the right lane was a new Mustang GT, In the Middle (in front of me) Was a new Corvette (not Z06) and to the left was a mom in a C32. Well the Camaro and the Mustang started reving at each other, so it was pretty evident that they were going when it turned green. Well, the light turned green, the Mustang and Camaro both took off hard and the mom ( by mom i mean 35-40 years old, with her kid in the car) leaves them both behind. they never knew what hit them. It was so funny. Yet another reason I need a C32! I wish i would have had my camara for pictures but no luck.

No racing stories,

but along the same lines...I saw a Yellow Mustang GT..with modified body work, etc, etc...with a "KOMPRESSOR" badge on the rear deck lid....I had to laugh.....

See Garage
There's a guy on my commuting route who drives a 98-99ish Corvette Coupe, with Z06 badges plastered in all the right places, and a vanity plate that says "1fastZ." Of course, everyone know the Z06 is a package only available on the Hardtop, not the Coupe.

To people who know Corvettes, this is just as funny as someone with a C240/C320 trying to pose as a C32 AMG.

Now I, on the other hand, when I had my supercharged Z28 Camaro, took all the Z28 badges off. I looked like as V6, was thought of as a V6, Heck I'll even tell you its a V6. It was always funny to bust some Mustang Cobras Butt when he tried to pick on a V6 Camaro. It was fun!

Perhaps the funniest part of this story is that TimmyC230boy apparently classifies all women from age 35-40 as a "mom."

When I added a cowl induction set up and had my 69 Nova SS repainted, I only had them put the crossed flags/327 badge on the front fenders. I replaced the SS gas cap with a chrome dome, and I was off to the races. I can't count the number of Mustangs, Dusters, Cudas and Challengers that were bewildered by the wheel stands and smoking M/T's as I left them at the line.
(The Edlebrock Tarantula and dual Holley 650's helped...a lot)
