Should I fix this bumper?

$300 to repair and paint is quite reasonable.
I bought a new rear bumper. best price I got for the paint was $225.
And it's a close match....but just a little light...
so you're mostly paying for the paint.
But, yeh, is it worth all that for the parts?

As long as they match it good enough I'm fine with it. I remember my bumper got hit in the parking lot at school about hmm some 4 years ago, I got it repainted at a "reliable" shop. When you look at it at different light it does look a little different in tint, and some of the paint is flaking by the creves in the molding. I've got a lifetime warranty on the work so hopefully all I have to do is take it back to get repainted....hmmm what if I take it back to get repainted and ask them to do the new/broken bumper as well?...I'm gonna try that, eventhough I'm at a tossup between the reiger and this one.

I know this really goes without saying but... for the love of god, DO NOT USE MAACO!!! My father had my CLK painted white for me (I didn't really want a purple car) and used them. The paint just flaked off of the front. And to top it all off, they CLAIMED that they painted it GM white, but it was much much whiter. Could never match the touch-up.

I really miss that colour, honestly. It was pretty sweet, but I was 17 and getting my first car... didn't really think purple was going to work too well. And I completely agree about the styling. The newer ones look so much more... feminine.

Oh, and I loved the car and the colour. Wish I never had it painted, especially after the new paint job sucked to hell.

I miss that car. Big difference between the 320 and the V6 230 engines! Looked pretty slick in white too!
