there's either two scenerio...

A. he sold the car and does not care anymore OR

B. he gather all the complaint letter send to him and took it to his dealership and got his dealership fixed the cluster for him which he doesn't have to go through with this thread.

A fix isn't too expensive if you realize that buying a low-mile replacement used gauge will probably at this point last the rest of your W203's lifetime, so there's no need for a new one.
