If anyone needs to know which tow-hook size they need from GoMiniGo.com, it's MB1.
I ordered one recently, and it looks kinda' cool.
If you like the look of silver, and what not.
But I think Cintoman's idea is pretty nice and probably cheaper too

Hey Gang,
Finally, here are the pictures of the plate mounted to the car. Please note, despite the amount of time and effort put into this, I have only mounted this onto my car when it was going for the inspection. Since then, I've had it in my trunk, just in case I ever get pulled over. Although it doesn't look too bad, I still prefer the clean look with no license plate in the front.
Hope you all enjoy.

Yes, I have seen exactly what you are talking about. I actually sold 4 plugs to a C320 owner that had this EXACT X x x X pattern. I have also seen dealers who put 6 holes in the bumper. Sometimes the holes are not even lined up which is another dilema.
Email me and I'll give you some pointers that may help.

I hate front license plates, they make the car look so, sub-urban and momish. I want it to look classy yet stylish and you can't achieve that with a big white rectangle screwed into your front end.

Anyone got Euro Plate frames for sale? I wanna get rid of my front plates...and Euro plates seem like the best option IMO, besides bumper plugs.
Although those would be okay too...but where to purchase?
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I have a few bumper plugs that I bought from Kragen. I will take pics of them on my car when i'm done with finals this week. I still have around 20 so I'd be willing to send some out to some members.

I'm not sure about that, but who gives a hoot anyway, I drove my Jetta around for a couple of years with no front plate and only got pulled over for it once and that was in some rich yuppie town where cops don't see much action anyway, anything even slightly out of the ordinary for them is like a major bust, it's amazing.
I think I'd like to try the bumper plug trick first (cheaper than buying a euro plate mounting bracket and euro plate which would run me about $75-$100).
Can anyone suggest 'the most ideal' bumper plugs to use for this?

Looking forward to seeing the end-result. And that would be great if you would be willing to ship some of the extras out, I'd paypal ya a few bucks

Funny my dealer made me sign a waiver for the front plate, even though it had a mount. 4 screws to secure the plate mount and then two huge screws that screwed the plate to the mount which pierced the bumper. I'm in the 6-hole club.

I found on some BMW forums they figured it's a 5/8-8 bolt. From what I see on GoMiniGo website, ours should be similar. But one would need to measure to be 100% sure.
I am pretty confident it's 8 threads per inch though ( "-8" part)
because http://www.images.gominigo.com/GMG-M...ement-Tool.pdf says "your tow hook has to have 8 threads per inch".

Looks like there are a couple on ebay, but I am unsure because the description says something like "stepper motor drive screw"
