can someone with spacers post pics of their cars when viewed from the back, i mean, the entire back of the car showing both left and right tires, and the entire back end. preferably those with stock 17 or 16 wheels.

ive come close to having spacers for my rear wheels, but im quite concerned that doing so, will make my rear wheels look "too much far apart" from each other, given that i only have 18x8, 225mm tires for the rear. if i put on rear 15mm spacers, the car will look aggressive, but i wonder if it looks good with 225 tires pushed 15mm outwards...might look weird when viewd by other motorists on the back. Skinny tires w/c are too much far apart.

dang! y didnt i just ordrd 18x9 with 255s...stupid stupid.....tsk.

There is no warranty on an H&R product unless it is purchased and installed by an authorized H&R dealer. Whether the shop you purchased it from chooses to provide their own, or H&R accepts it on a case by case basis is up to them.

A warranty would be a good thing to have with springs, but as far as spacers go, is there any reason? There's not really much chance of failure, is there? (Well, as long as they are installed correctly.)

Well If H&R has to install it then i guess i would be intouble anyway since i did it my self. The box of spacers came with a paper with a lifetime warrenty, not like i need it because where i bought them said if something ever happens i could always return it to them. Not like i even need a warrenty becuase i am not planning on keeping them that long.

i have 225 tires on my car with 15mm spacers and you can bairly tell its wider from the back, i mean u can a little but not even close enough to say they are sticking out or to far apart. They can actually still look to far in with the 15mm spacers.

here is a before and after pic. Its mot noticable from the side where you would see it tucked in.

If they are TUV approved, like H&R, then you won't have any problems. If they are not TUV approved then you may be in for a world of trouble.

Thanks for the complements everyone.

No there is no rubbing at all. If your car is not lowered u will even have a better chance of things not rubbing. But even with my car lowered and #1 spring pads in the rear i am able to stick one finger in there fine. Its a little tight but nothings going to rub.

Yes, Mercedes lugs are conical, not tappered. Certain aftermarket wheels will require you to switch to a tappered lug.

ok thank you. when i ordered my spacers and lugs the guy showed me pictures of the two types of lugs and I wasnt sure. i looked the the manual and there was a picture of the rounded type so i had him order those. but then i wasnt sure if maybe the c7 wheels were different, but now i know and knowing is half the battle. thanks alot! hopefully i can get my spacers installed soon.

different bolts for spare?

i remember a while back there was a thread about different bolts for the spare tire. is this for both the coupe and the sedan? i remember someone saying they did some major damage by trying to put stock bolts onto the spare tire. can someone please clarify for me?

If you knew there was a thread about it, why not search?
