Spare Tire Lugs Nuts

Where do they put the spare tire lug nuts in the coupes. I looked in the manual and spare tire area, but not luck.

Look under the spare. They are in a foam storage area with the wheel chock, lug wrench, wheels alignment pin, etc.

My spare uses a different set of lug bolts than the wheels on the car. You need a set that matches your spare or the spare is useless. Check it out before you need to try it.

Thanks, I'll ask the dealer as they are not there.

Lug nuts for Coupe

Anybody know offhand how much a full set of lug nuts for a coupe might run me from the dealer? I dont know what it is about these MB lug nuts, but they sure seem prone to rusting quick... mine were rusted in less than a year... some parts around brake calipers as well.. prob because of the horrible winter we had.

They are actually bolts, not nuts.

Why not asking your dealer? Call their parts department, the bolts must always be in stock

You might have better luck with the H&R bolts, try Ben.

why not just get bolts from a local Discount tire and save some money (its not like they have MB logo or anything right?). I know there's two type (ball-seat and acorn-seat type). One is round on the part where the bolt-head and screw/ridges meet and one is flat (okay so my description sux but one is for mostly OEM application and one is for aftermarket rims application).

Take the bolts that you have, and add 15mm?

Dont' be confused, call the place you got the spacer from and buy the bolts from them, they'll know. For example, I have a 10mm H&R spacer with H&R bolts for 10mm spacers. Be careful if you put the spare on, you can't use the longer bolts with the spare and getting the spacer off is not easy once it's pressed on...

The C7 Stock wheel bolts are 12x1.5 39mm Ball Seat. Then I would need a 55mm long wheel bolt, 12x1.5 Ball Seat. Is this correct?

Thanks,

Here is a tip: 39 + 15 = 54

I've read many posts abouts spacers, all seem to say that there are no negatives to adding them. Try reading other posts, there pretty informative.
