Some of You Boys Might Enjoy to See a Swirl-Free C203!
Here's a detail I did for SoCal local TheBenzE. I have to say this has to be the nicest one I have come across.
It first seemed to be not "too bad" in the swirl department. Boy was I wrong! I tried PO203S with a orange pad and the swirls just laughed at it. I then tried Power Finish again with Purple Foamed Wool. Still not enough to tackle them! Finally I busted out Meguiar's M105 compound with a Lake Country orange pad and voilà.
Total time: 10 hours
Wash:
Chemical Guys One waterless wash
P21S wheel gel
Swissvax wheel and detail brushes
Costco microfibers
Uber microfibers
Chemical Guys ultra plush microfibers
Exterior cleaning and correction:
Meguiar's claybar
Finish Kare #425
Meguiar's M105 compound
Menzerna PO203S Power Finish
Lake Country orange pads
Flex XC-3401 DA
Isopropyl alcohol between each pass
Chemical Guys EZ Creme Glaze
Finish Kare #1000P
Finish Kare FX-100
Finish Kare #108
Eagle One Neverdull
Brinkmann light

Pardon the offense, but...
the head of my rooster wants to rub itself on that paint.![rolf](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/rofl.gif)

Hahahaha. Maybe not that literally. But it looks amazing.
It essentially takes the whole day to get everything, but when you're done, don't you get this smugness in yourself that you took care of something you like?

I just detailed my car today, and the swirls also just laughed. How much more powerful is the Flex DA than the Porter Cable 7424? I guess I'll be investing in some 105 for the next detail.

Great minds think alike. i did a wash & wax also today but I used a plain old Meguiars Glod class car wash, Step 1 cleaner, step 2 polish, step 3 wax and Ultimate Detailer. Didn't come out too bad either. I used a PC 7424 to help me along with Meguiars microfibers. Might post some pics tomorrow.

I have a DA that I use as well...and I will never use anything else...the same translation from restoration work and body prep...with Dual Action, the finish is far superior!
Your detailing work here looks great! Great work...this is on my July to do list...detail car and paint chassis rust...
