EBC Rotors

Hi guys,
I finally decided i'm going with EBC Ultimax Slotted Rotors (AKA: USR)
I have to do a complete front only brake job, i have semi metalix on right now and OEM x-drilled rotors.
The rotors have waves on them, and they cannot be "cut".

So, i called up EBC today and was told the the front rotors that i need are called USR7250 and USR892 for rear, but forgot to ask for details like diamater etc.
Then they gave me a phone number to call (got referred to a distributor)
FYI: EBC website has a list with those authorized distributors.

HERE is the link:
http://www.ebcbrakes.com/buynow/usaa...e-online.shtml

Ok, i called PerfectBrakes.com and was told that the front rotors are called USR885.
I was surprised... so i went on different websites and found that all of them call it USR885 for front. I forgot to mention, these rotors are for a 05 C230K SS with 2 piston calipers.
Not only that they are different than what EBC told me but also all of those sites mention the size of them is 11.3 diameter.(online info)

SEE for yourself :
http://www.ajusa.com/details/EBC-Bra...ed+Rotors&vq=&

So, now im confused. I will call EBC tommorow and get the details.
I went online to other distributors websites...none of them have the rear rotors and the average price for 2 front rotors is $150.
Does anyone have these rotors on ? are they any better ? any reviews ?

I purchased EBC rotors for my front and rear. It was pretty much a pita. Different websites telling me different things. I ordered dimpled and slotted front and rear, when i got them the fronts were cross drilled, then i talked to EBC and they told me they don't make dimpled/slotted for my car when every website said they were available.

The part numbers that EBC told you are similar to the part numbers that i had. Mine were gd7250(front) gd892(rear) I don't know the exact size of our front rotors but i do know the 11.3 is wrong. Ours are bigger than that.

If you are getting them for the slotted look then thats cool, but Id just go with zimmerman or R1 concepts and save some cash...

The ones you need are more expensive...

http://www.autoanything.com/brakes/77A3865A3075462.aspx

Thats probably an avg price for these. I paid something similar for mine..

R1 Concepts are cheaper if you go for the regular rotors, the higher end rotors are similar in price...

Okay, now i know the truth.
I called dealer and based on the VIN number i have the right info regarding the front rotors.
They are 330mm or 13 inches Part number 2034211312 they are OEM cross-drilled and cost $130each(Chicago Loeber Motors)
Then i called EBC and just asked for front rotors for my vehicle.
After giving them the vehicle info, they came up with a question: Is your vehicle the sport european version 1.8 supercharged or the sport 2.5 american ?
I said sport 1.8 supercharged american
So they came up with 11.3 inch rotors for front and theyr model number is USR885.
I said: NO !
I told him that i spoke with deealer and was told its a 13inch and then hes said that in that case i have a 2.5L sport c230 kompressor.
So you see, i theyr records the c230 model is a lil' screwed up.
Then hes said that if the dealer said that its 13 inches the model number for that is USR7250(you are correct Mr.ROLLNNN) and rear is USR892 which is 11.4inches.
FINNAAALLLYYY...closure.
Now i know what i need, next is checking those prices.
I'll update you on my final expense and after i get them i'll have install pics and details with results.

OMG !!!!
So, after going though the ordeal...findind out the correct info. now i hit the wall.
From the EBC website, the list with vendors, i started calling a few sites and asking directly for the part i need using the info that i had. So i asked for USR2750 13inch rotors.
Prices started from: lowest $309.70 with free shipping to $349+shipping from R1 Concepts.
One company that i called(BuyBrakes) i spoke with a guy and after i told him what the part number i need, he wanted to know for what vehicle i need the part(ohh boy) so as soon as i said that i have a c230K ss he stopped me and told me that there is a problem.
He sold these "USR2750" for the same vehicle to some client and that client called him back and returned the items because it was cross-drilled only(was suposed to be slotted only). The guy told me that after that he wanted to get the story str8 and called EBC and told them the problems related to c230 sport models and issues with "right part number etc". He was told(this is what he told me) that the c230 2 piston caliper has a problem with the slotted rotors, it makes allooottt of noise and lout too, so they only make plain or cross-drilled.
So i dont know if this product(slotted) was ever on the market or if it was pulled/discontinued, but all they(ebc) have for the c230k ss is the plain or cross-drilled.

If anyone has the USR's and of course the USR2750 and they are slotted only and they work and no noise, please let me know.
Now im thinking to go with the OEM cros-drilled from dealer since are cheaper $130 a piece but i'll give it a few more days to see if i get any replyzzzzzz to this post.
Thanks guys.

Has anyone actually used Zimmerman rotors? I have seen them online and they are indeed cheap but I turn away from buying them because the more you pay the higher quality. Anyone have personal experience with Zimmerman rotors? Thanks.
