door lock problem
Car: 2002 C230 Kompressor Coupe
I do have the same symptoms like everybody else. Jumping of the lock while locking and unlocking. It takes about 10 tries to make it work. So what actually has to be done? Some say I have to lube some boot, some say to replace the lock itself....
I'm confused.
Wat is the best DIY? The more pics the better....I've been through many pages already and it's hard to keep all of this information from different posts together. Did anybody actually put all of that info together?

Replace the door lock control module. After that, you need to do some adjustment via StarDiag, as the infra-red sensor (for open/close windows) doesn't work until you do.
I don't have a DIY, but I believe there is one here.

If you`re in Canada, get in line,... the part is on backorder,... takes about 2 week to get here from Germany.

I had the actuator installed by the same guy who installed my stereo years back. He charged me $45.00 I think it was. Cheap compared to $279 I was quoted somewhere else. It took him an hour to do it.
