I drive a Toyota Hybrid...
transporting a queen mattress on top of my c coupe
i am gonna do something really ghetto.. instead of driving and holding the mattress with 1 hand, planning to tie it with lot and lot of ropes.
anyone ever done this?? not old enough to rent a U-Haul

all humor aside (and believe me- there's plenty of it)- be sure to put a towel or something soft over the paint where the rope is going to touch. i could see some serious swirl marks coming from this if you don't.

if you tie it to the roof with the windows down.. make sure to put some cloth or towel so the ropes dont mess up the window edges and roof of the interior...

if its a single mattress, just barrow your friend rsx and put it in the back and tie down the trunk door with one of those bicycle cords. There's a lot of interior space in those those rsx's.
