Twitching lock???

2014 Mercedes Benz E350
Twitching lock???

so today when i got out my car i locked it and heard a noise! when i pressed the unlock button i noticed that my passenger side door lock bounces up and down about 4 to 5 times till it stops and when it stops its random sometimes it locks the door sometimes it keeps it unlocked. Anyone know what this could be from and how can i fix it?

Happen to me last year while I was coming back from placing my bets on the Derby.. $600.00 ***** it cost me at the stealer.. Didnt really want to mess around being that the aribag was there and all. Car was a month out from being covered...

time to revive this old thread... because i have the exact same issue and have been quoted $455 so i am tempted to take care of this myself, but don't feel too comfortable because of what i've read. any advice?

where do you guys recommend i could purchase this part from? i read people quoting for $85, but i could only find $125 online
