this post is a reflection of how recent activities have been on the W203 forum.
1. update your location and vehicle if you want to actually ask people where to get what. it's simple courtesy for those that are willing to help.
2. stop making threads after threads on every questions that comes to your mind. STFF OR start a thread by introducing yourself and your questions and stick with it! all the junk thread is making searching harder and harder after the moderators already made the very useful DIY/Aftermarket section up top.
3. STFF and post in threads that are most related to what you want to ask. people WILL answer those threads.
4. once again. STFF
and finally
5. If you post pictures of your car or mods asking people what their opinions are please keep in mind that everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Keep an open mind instead of resorting to insults.

yah i've been noticing this a lot recently and its been getting to me. everyone starting threads on things that literally are getting started every other day.
Like Frank said, STFF. and for the newbs that don't know what that means, it stands for "search the f...reaking forum."
how do you search? little search button top right hand area below the page number/selector

yeah feels like where in elem. school again... If you cant take harsh criticism then dont be asking peoples opinions thats how I feel. Everyone is entitled to his/hers opinions so people need to learn to accept it and just go with the flow.

"have you had sex in your car?" (correct answer: no, I own a home with actual beds, couches, and floors.

"how do you look cool in your car?" (correct answer: I sit in it.

and, of course:
"is it cool to put <good car> badges on my <not-so-good car>?" (correct answer: STFF!)

It has been crazy ridiculous lately with all the new threads. My favorites are the "What are the problems one can expect with a 2001-2007 W203?" ones. Also, the ones where new people post questions and then proceed to tell us what responses are appropriate and not to answer if we are "unknowledgeable".

good post, Frank! I'm not going to sticky this thread b/c most of the idiots that need to read it will probably read this post than a stickied post.
unfortunately, this is what happens when the value of the car drops and morons that were modding Toyota Echos are able to afford it and parents buy it for their hood rat 15 year old who tries to act like he's all that.

It sounds crazy, yes. But I've seen Honda Accord V6 AMG cars around here. And Mercedes star emblems on old Caprice cars.

May I also add "Respect the Senior Members". I know a lot of Senior Members got insulted by idiots posting questions like "how to make the c230 faster" then when the senior members tell them whats up these noobies started retaliating with insults.

Out Of Control!!
This forum goes in waves; idiot posters will post things, realize that people won't accept their sh*t, and then move on. It'll change back to normal before you know it.

This forum has 1000s of posts, and searching doesn't always yield the best results. It took me 3 pages of searches to find the correct climate thread I wanted, and that's only cause I knew what I was looking for.
Noobs are going to ask dumb questions, yet the senior members don't have to respond with sarcastic insults. As a senior member, if you're going to respond with "STFF" then you probably know what to search for and it'd take a few mins to search yourself and post the link for the noob, or a few secs to be an *** and post "STFF" - which do you think is a better response?
The W203 platform is retired, there's little/no new development, so we might as well lock the forum now and not let anyone post again cause its all been said before.
