Don't you have a post below on wheel locks? I would run 30mm conical seat locks to be on the safe side but if HRE said that it's ok to run 26mm, then go with that. I have 30mm on the rears and 39mm on the fronts on mine

iforged and which wheel locks?
Hey everyone,
i will be gettin in a set of 19" iforged and am confused on what lugs will fit. I was told to get the 12mm X 1.5 ones but when i called a distrutor of mcgard splinedrive they said it wouldnt fit and i would have to measure all these different things to figure out what will fit (i would need the new rims to measure). He also said i need "bolts" not lugs and i got all confused.. can anyone with iforged give me a hand with this? does the offest effect what length bolt i will need? i did a search and all i could find was one thread that specifically talked about iforged and lugs. any help would be appretiated!! thanks

Mercedes is gone physically, but still in my heart.
First off, Mercedes use lug screws, so that's what he was referring to (it screws into the spot, not locked in like the lug). But despite your offset, for any aftermarket wheels on our C-class we need a regular 12mm x 1.5 for the front, that'll fit fine, but then for the rear, it's the same size, just a MUCH shorter length, like, the size of your replacement lug screws that go on the spare, about 22-24mm in length, otherwise it'll scrape against the rotor walls and knock out the e-brake assembly springs. It's about a $300 repair job at the stealership. I learned that the hard way

Will these fit - PLEASE HELP ASAP?
Taking a trip to Detroit, MI and NEED to be protected!
Okay when i got my rims, they came with different lugs, shorter than stock. I have searched all the wheel lock threads and couldn't find an answer.
My question is, will these locks have the right depth to correctly fit my wheels ? the lugs on the current setup sit REALLY deep into my wheel, even more so in the front. What do you mb guru's think or can suggest on wheel locks, i would like to order asap. Not trying to end up on cinder blocks leaving the club or something.
Thanks in advance.

yes.. a set of wheel locks. they have different measurements... find the one that fits what you have now. I got a wheel lock set of the E55s after I put on the AMG Mono 18s on my w202.

Please help me out...
outaurleague, could you help me out and start to do some searching and post in older threads, instead of starting new threads about things like this. Trying to keep the forum clean and easy for peeps (especially because this is the last year of production for the w203), so that when people search, they can actually find it easy to get all the information that's already there in a few threads, rather than 15-20.
This is another one of those topics that has been discussed a lot of times.

TO EVERYBODY - Despite what you may think, since the w203 has been around since 2001 (and 2000 in some countries), it is MUCH better to post in an old thread regarding subjects like this rather than starting your own thread. Selfishly (for each individual), it's more convenient for a person to start a new thread, BUT, it doesn't help when we try to encourage people to Search first because of the fact that there are SO many topics that have been discussed before. Thanks for your cooperation, everybody. - Drex -

I've heard to NOT use wheel locks [bolts, i guess in our case] on mercedes. anyone have some insight to that? I'm gonna have to get new bolts when I upgrade to rims/tires.

Was there any reasoning why people have said "not" to use wheel locks on Benzos? I've never heard that before.

Get RAD locks.
For the stock size RAD 2145 is what's used.
RAD makes bolts for virtually all major wheel manufacturers, BBS, OZ, Ronal, MIM, etc. so you can be assured of the excellent quality.

From what I've seen/heard it doesn't really matter which locks you use on ANY car... if a thief wants your wheels, they will take them. I remember taking my Accord in to a shop once and forgot the wheel lock. They said "no biggie" and I don't think it slowed them down one bit.

I hope none of us here will have to get thru that bad experience though
