Nice DIY, I got 10.000K in my fog light and you need to take engine cover under the car and some **** if you want xenon in your fog. And i got Xenon light in all light on front of my car and it´s legal in Iceland and THE POWER of high light.

You guys favor yellow fogs on c-classes? I'd put some on mine when the oem's go out just to be unique.

Looks i dunno about yellow fog lamp bulbs? it's not goin to be that deep yellow that you see in the LEXUS's because the lense are yellow as well. FOG lamps are suppose to be yellow in general for safety but looks wise check out www.cardomain.com and look at ppl head light setup and choose what you want from there

Hey, so if I get that kit at apexcone, I wouldn't need any cancellers? Just the kit itself? Coz my brother told me I would need those error cancelling wiring.

Ok i've had my HID's for half a year now, ballasts mounted on the wheel well but 4 times the distance away from the ESP module as in these pics. While the ballast isn't too close to the actual module, it is close to the bundling of wires that eventually connect to the module...do i need to reposition the ballast or is it over-paranoid to think that i can fry the ESP by the close promity to the wires only?

I cant believe that most of you guys dont take time and mount these ballasts properly. it takes 15 mins to take off the bumper... and install them properly... May be i am just to a**l that way, but to open up the hood and see all this ballast/wiring mess?

Just get replacement bulbs that are yellow. It's that simple.

That's what I did; I didn't bother with the yellow tinted covers, as I already had clear lens protectors on the foggies, but if you want it to look yellow when they're not on, then you can do what maverick did.

ya i got yellow bulbs and yellow tint from stickercity.com...i cut out a square section and then stuck it on and then used a straight edge to trim around the light assembly...its not perfect since its not an easty fit or process but it looks great from 5' back and beyond! plus the yellow bulbs plus yellow tint makes a truly deep yellow color show!

Sorry, nto trying to be an a$$ but if you go through this thread you'll see some of the good locations. The only case that has been reported to these forums is where the ballast was directly mounted onto the module... how close can you be to the module without ruining it? as far as possible i would think

Is it just me or do they look like they are pointed a little low?

I think my camera just blows. They've got perfect aim and the camera recording simply doesn't do them justice. I wonder how I can capture their coverage better without having to buy a more expensive camera?

Hey guys, will I need a relay harness for the HID's in the first post?

Anyone run these babies on the pre-facelift cars? Errors?

Thanks.

I know a member here (Patrick Lowkey) he bought a kit and he got errors. He gave me his kit and it was perfectly fine for me. He got some expensive kind which I think have just built in error cancellers.

So if you get any trouble you can buy error cancellers.
But I think sometimes he has to turn off his car then on (only first start) because he gets a malfunction.
