prevoius owner said fill up regular, but i look at the gas thing and its says premium fuel only wtf!!! should i continue to fill up regular? since the ecu is used to it by now or is that bad for the car... or should i wait till gas is empty, fill up 91 octane gas and reset the ecu?

Regular gas won't lead to engine destruction, just use premium from now on. The car doesn't have feelings, thus it doesn't "get used" to anything. It's been pulling timing to avoid engine knock so maybe you'll notice a bit more power.

Exactly! And, the extra few bucks you pay to fill up with premium is a wash, as you should get a bit better MPG with the higher octane gas.

greater oxygenation of the gasoline will result in a more effective combustion of the gasoline and thus greater fuel efficiency if the car is meant (and previously tuned from the factory) to run that type of fuel.
