I tried them with my original rotors which were still OK. Took them off a week later. They were terrible. Required a lot more brake force and they faded very easily. I'm not sure if it's the pads that are bad, or if it's the combo of the stock rotors and posi quiet pads.

Hi there
I have the posi quiets installed on my Lincoln LS.
When first installed they were quiet, and stopping power was fine for me. However, I have CENTRIC slotted and dimpled rotors on the front and their blanks for rear.
As of 2k+ miles, The brakes now squeal and squeak when they are cold or after a heavy rain.
Akenbro's are good, Also check out porterfield brakes 'Not sure if they will fit MB spec off top of my head.'

i have porterfield pads on stock front calipers with crossdrilled rotors. work very very well. low noise. low dust. and very good stopping power. and i hear they last a very long time.
whatever you do, just make sure you bed in your brakes properly or any combination of pads and rotors will squeal and suck. lol

Good point.
Not so sure why mine squeel, stopping power seems about the same. As I get the "swooshing" sound off the front rotors when stopping. Do believe I bed'd them / let them chamfer, Only maybe had 2 semi hard stops during this period.
Tirerack.com normally has good prices for the pads. Look around though.

well poterfield make race pads, so they're really good. i'm running oem sport rotors (the ones that come crossdrilled on the sport models. braking is like 100x better than stock and the pads will last like 2-3 times longer, or so i've been told. um i'd say it is totally worth it.
and again. bed in your brakes properly or they'll suck and you'll have crappy pads and rotors anyway.
