south florida drivers

i was wondering what tires you guys like, my car is 2005 with 44000 miles. it came with conti's sports and at 24K and 31K i replaced the Rears and fronts respectively with Kumho ecsta asx which are all season ultra performance.
They were rated well on tire rack, and i figured to get some all seasons because of the rain

now its been 20000 miles on the rears and they are bald. I have a slow leak in one and its considered irreparable.

so i was curious waht u guys prefer.

also recommendations on a honest body shop, my aftermaket c55 type spoiler has started to pull off on one end. it seems the resin has cracked .

much thanks

Why is the subject called "South Florida Drivers"?
This is a thread about tires and a cracked spoiler?

I have heard great things about the General Exclaim UHPS. Just run "summer" tires all year round. We don't need anything else. The Generals should have great wet weather traction, and last a while.

So... South Florida... Chicago?

South Florida Drivers?

I have Kumho Ecsta ASX on my car as well. They have 19,500 miles on them as of tonight and the rears have 10-15% of life remaining. Fronts have about 35-40% remaining. These have been pretty decent tires and I would see no problem in replacing them with more ASXs.

I'm gonna go with the General Exclaim UHP next time. I had already decided that and will be replacing the rears once they've reached 25,000 miles of service. So, I concur with Drew on that.

Edit: As my car sits in the garage right now, the odometer reads 60,000. She's as good as new!

I thought you were trying to comment how bad the drivers are here.

Before I i had Toyo T1R which i liked better.

i spent one yr in chicago, after coming from the OC cali, i had the sport contis on then, and i spent alot of time spining round and round. fun

been in ft. lauderdale since 06. been using Ultimate Euro for services, they are in DAvie..

got the ecstas asx cuz all the rain, i thought an all season would be better.

ive always had to do the "" change the rears first"and the change the fronts because the fronts dont lose thread as fast. hard to justify throwing away good tires.

ill check out the generals, dont know much abt them

thanks

gotta go outside and make an attept at moleskinning the car for tints

going back to cali next summer

ps2s are nice, but very expensive, and will give me many fewer miles than the kumhos,

i know metalics will mess with radio, right after i tinted, not a single station worked, fm or am, i was like whoa, but then after 10 min, they came back, wierd

i wanted a carbon or ceramic, but the situation as it was, lead to what it did.
