Do you think the capacitor mod would work in this situation? Lights stay on until I turn my car on, lots of error messages too.

Thanks

Speedo and odo have nothing to do with headlights. You did something wrong in the install. Go back and doublecheck everything.

Do you have a capacitor? I thought you needed to have one?

i would be worried about the speedo then the hid kit. did it stop working right after the hid kit? if you keep the lights off does the speedo work? i don't think it would start working again or stop working because of a hid kit. if the lights are giving errors a trick to get the lights to stay on and not flicker or turn off is to turn the headlights on and wait about 20-30 seconds before starting the car. that doesn't work for everyone but for some it does. also where did you place the ballasts?

i just went right now outside and the speedo is working just fine with the lights on but the lights are not working its so weirrd i dont get it. I just have the ballast sitting loose behind the assembly i checked all the connection they seem to be fine. I tryed to do what u said about turning the light on before starting it and made no diff for me. thanks for the respond man its very frustrating for me today

ok well make sure you keep the ballasts away from the abs controller. it can do some expensive damage if they are too close. and the trick seems to only work on some cars/kits. sounds like you need the capacitors.

you need the error code eliminators.
I had the same problem too, Lights worked fine when car off, started car lights turned off.
