Found the rarest C Class ever

Has anyone ever seen one?

I'm usually not a fan of coupes (sorry) but this is one coupe I would love to own

Inspiration to the Coupe owners?

After the performance of the AMG models in the previous generation, Mercedes-Benz attempted to increase sales among high-end buyers by introducing two different AMG versions in the new model, also in 2001. The C 32 AMG scaled back down to a 3.2 L V6 engine, to match the E46 M3 displacement and improve weight distribution, but it required a twin-screw type supercharger (manufactured by IHI) to reach 354 PS (260 kW; 349 hp)) at 6100 rpm and 450 N·m (332 lb·ft) at 4400 rpm. Like its predecessors, it used a five-speed automatic, helping it to complete a 0-100 km/h sprint within 5.2 seconds. The second version was C 30 CDI AMG, using a 3.0 L five-cylinder engine, capable of 231 PS (170 kW; 228 hp) at 3800 rpm and 540 N·m (398 lb·ft) at 2000 rpm. Both were available in all three body styles, but the diesel model did not reach sales expectations and was retired in 2004, as well as the C 32 AMG Sportcoupé.
I wonder why it didn't reach sales expectations? I mean I would love to own one. Maybe too expensive?

Sales never met expectations because diesels are purchased in Europe primarily because they're a long-term money saving vehicle. Diesels in general have less operational costs in the long run, despite a small premium in the initial purchase price.

It's like a hybrid, it costs $2k more today, but you'll save more than that in the long run (at least one hopes to).

However, a diesel AMG car, is not financially more efficient in the long run. So, it would make sense to just go with a petrol car.

Furthermore, diesel cars are somewhat less entertaining to drive. They have very narrow RPM ranges, you can't have a lot of fun with the car as you can with a petrol car. Thus, this negates the point of the car being an AMG.

It's probably a good car, but I'm not even sure I'd buy it. And I'm considered a pro-Diesel person in the United States.

However, in Europe, I'd consider buying either a C200K/C250CGI (petrol) or a C220CDI/ C250CDI (diesel). Not sure about the exact models in Europe, since each country is different and they've changed them recently.

One last thing, I hate filling up the car with gas. I think it's a very dirty and time-wasting process. Thus, I value cars with a long range and large fuel tanks. Diesels give long range driving however, the diesel fueling process is even dirtier than the gasoline fueling. So I'm still wondering if I'd like to own a diesel. However, truly, if you drive 20,000 miles a year (with large mileage done on the highway at cruising speed); diesel will be much cheaper to operate.

ollllllllllldddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddd .... not even worth it for me to put "news" in the sentence.

C32 AMG coupe. AMG manufacture option. owner has to supplier the coupe. single tip dual outlet exhaust with the usual C32 upgrades interior wise. limited production run.

haven't heard from Carlos, but last I heard he dropped the sportcoupe at AMG already.

Though you couldn't get close the same hp, a built C230/C350 with a manny and better than AMG upgrades makes more sense to me, and would be much cheaper I'm sure than having AMG do it. Oh, that's right - I have that already.
