Car is 2005, COMAND is 2006 year.

I currently have the following additions to my cars audio system:

SiriusXM (OEM)
CD Changer
iPod Integration Kit

Will these all work with the Euro COMAND (the Euro COMAND that I'm getting has the following buttons: Audio, Video, Nav, Map, Tel, Serv)?

What the heck is RDS and is it something I have to screw around with to get working on a US W203?

This question you're more than welcome to STFF me for...

TV function of the Euro COMAND does not work in US W203's without extra hardware... correct?

They all will work but you might need version coding depending on what the command is programed for. EDIT ok the sat i have no idea on but the rest will work.
Rds is http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Radio_Data_System and should work it does on my euro unit from 02.
tv needs extra hardware you are correct
and all my info has come from reading all the threads on here so if you did search you could find everything i know.

Like I said, did search... I search "Sirius + Euro + COMAND", and found nothing pertaining to the '05+ DVD COMAND unit. I did however see someone put an external Sirius unit in.... but nothing with OEM.

yes...and RDS is radio data system...if the stations in your area send out info about songs, artists, album, station info etc it will be displayed on the screen...its quite nice to know when new songs come out and what they are...

So I guess my only remaining question is... will my OEM Sirius work?

with euro comand won't support sirius...
u need tv tuner module but it's only analog for 203... so useless in US....

arrggg, looks like I'll be getting an external Sirius unit. ;-(
