M112 V6 engine (3.2L) to 2005 C230K?

Is it possible to install 3.2 V6 to 2005 C230 Kompressor (5 Speed Automatic Transmission), without replacing transmission, exhaust, and other parts of my C230K ?

There are so few 320's in my area, so its hard to find good one. I love the look of my 230 Sport Sedan and i can trade my 271 engine to 112 and may be order new ECU (if needed), anyway if someone can list here all of modifications to replacing 271 to 112, that help me to make a right decision.

x-drive where do you live that would be hard to find a c320. and if you are going to do an engine swap why not go up to a c32 or c55 engine? but as others have said for the money this will cost i am sure you could have a c32 or c55.

Nothing is impossible but this is a hell of a conversion - It's not just an ECU - Full Engine wiring harness, Exhausts, cooling system, Aircon, Fuel system, entire intake system to name but a few. Then adapting it all to make it work. It will cost you more than the value of the car unless you had a full smashed donor car to take all the bit's & pieces off of.

Agreed.. Forget this. Why would you want to do this? A properly cared for M271 is a good engine. Not too much slower than a C320 while offering much better overall fuel economy. I had a choice between my 05 C230 and a silver 04 C320. Drove them both, priced the same. Was an easy decision.

Me? Hellllllll no. It was a pre-facelift car.. in all its weird gauge-small rim-frosty lights glory. The only thing it offered over the C230 I ended up with was a power passenger seat and Bose audio. It was smoother but much, much less attractive inside and out. I'm no fan of pre-2005 C-class cars at all.

lol i am the complete opposite i am not a big fan of the 05-07. i feel that if you don't have options you can tell a lot easier and i don't like the climate control. i will say that i like the bix and the clear mirror lights but that is really it.

I think a lot of c230 owners go through this; I know I did. "It's a sporty, fun little car, but if it only had a little more power...."
Save the money for something else in a few years (like a c55 with a m156 transplant, supercharged, manual transmission, beefy drivetrain...supercharged...)
