Euro comand Aux input hardwire trouble shoot
I purchased the ipod harness (A 203 540 61 07) from the dealer and cut the white adaptor end off to expose the terminal wires.
followed the directions listed on post(s)

and another post.. but i can't seem to find it right now...
Connected the bare Aux harness wires to the PINS (A008 545 55 26) then connected these PINS directly into my C2 connector on the back of my comand using the information below.
Pin 4: Audio Right (brown)
Pin 5: Right Ground (black)
Pin 13: Audio Left (yellow)
Pin 14: Left Ground (bare)
Problem is... the audio is ONLY and PRIMARILY outputs from my right/passenger speakers.
My CD and Radio output is normal and equal bilateral...
I have taken the pins/harness apart and re-installed 2x with no change.
I have also used a 2 different cord/wire plugged into my iphone/aux jack.
My iphone plays normal.. i.e. equal out to right/left speakers in my headphones.
1. Are the above pin/wire color combination correct?
2. Is this more likely an improperly crimped PIN?
Any help or trouble shooting pointers would be greatly appreciated.
-thanks

I did the same thing. I wired it the way he had it laid out, and it sounded like crap. Almost like there was an echo. So I pulled it out, and tried various combinations of wiring it, and came across one that was correct. It makes no sense, but it worked.
And no, I don't remember how I hooked it up.
Just play around and you'll figure it out. There aren't too many different combinations.

Just curious.... why did you do that?
I have a Euro COMAND, with the iPod integration kit. Installed it myself, never cut a single wire, just plugged the harness in and put everything back together and it's worked fine for months.
