Awesome photos! I'm going in for the kill tonight, they look exactly OEM and you're right, probably made by the same manufacturer.
For those of you who want these, I noticed their stock is depleted by 10 just since last night, and now only about ~30 or so left so better order soon if you don't wanna wit for back orders.
Thanks again for the photos!

Like i said the ones from them are the same manufacturer as my stock ones. unless they changed manufactures on the new ones they are the same as Mercedes ones except for the Mercedes emblem lol. lol they should be paying me a commission on these things i wonder if my post had anything to do with the 10 being sold?
I assume you just popped the mirror covers, took off the harness to the LEDs, unscrew and reverse the procedure? Any nasty surprises that I should be aware of?
Just placed my order.

getting one of my mirror covers off was a challenge. lol i broke something but that was just because i got angry and well used a bigger hammer. luckily i didn't really break it functionality wise just if you ever push the mirror back you will see that someone was screwing with it. so you push the mirror back pop off the cover the socket undoes it's self so all you have to do is unscrew the two screws and it is off. then just put the new one in screw it down and slide the cover back on till it clicks into place. if you need the pic of what to push on to unclip the housing it is on here somewhere it is kind of hard to describe. one side took me 5 minutes the hard side like 20 but most of that was me cussing and going what is wrong with this thing. they do look good though but i did scare myself because i took them off with they key in so it had an error when i started the car. scared me that i had really broken something in my rage moment. luckily i restarted the car and it was fine. i also got my new oil cap on which looks really good. tomorrow i have to put in the new air filters which will complete my service of the car till next Friday when i plan on getting the oil changed, trans fluid flushed, and whatever else i can think of to get done while it is at the dealer.

like i said 5 minutes on the one side but the other side seemed to be stuck on or something i learned how to take them off when my car was getting some warranty work done so i had a loaner so i popped off both of them on it took me like 1 minute each side to get them off. then two screws hold them on so 1 minute then clean the housing mine had a lot of dirt around the seal. pop the new one in screw it down then push it back on until it clicks and you are done. honestly either my light was stuck or i was so tired from work that i was not doing it right and i got to aggressive to fast. but all you need to do this are a flat head screwdriver and a small Philips.

Trey,
Will take a pic in the same place. That's a pull-off area on the main road above my house.
Ordered the lights & a whole lot of other bits & pieces from RME - man they are cheap compared with here. Even bought a new hood star at less than 10% of the price in SA and it's genuine and a spare TCU plug for the transmission in case I ever have trouble - $8 - what a joke - that costs $120 here & they even have a non genuine one for $5!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks so much for recommending them - Got 10% discount for Thanksgiving - amazing!!!
Ah well, they are on there way from CO to Dallas & a friend will bring them to SA for me at Christmas.
BTW - I'm going to cut a 2 inch spacer like someone did before on the forum to hold the mirror from snapping back.

The discount didn't register for me when I placed the order, and mine, too, shipped from CA.

Just to clarify - My friend in Dallas had to enter 6 times to get the discount to register he tells me. I don't know where mine shipped from. Took it forgranted that it was CO because that's their address on the invoice. Sounds like everything ships from CA. Got the 10% Thanksgiving discount though. Man you guys have it good on MB spares pricing. I expect things to be cheap in the US but not this cheap.

Perfect timing on this thread. Both of my LED housings have been cracked for quite some time. I've been meaning to get some new ones, but always forget to ask my dealership how much for replacements. I'm sure it's more than $25. I have to check out this site and see what else I can order from them, as their prices are great.

So are these direct replacements for the frosty ones on my 2002? Correct me if I am wrong but I think mine are incandescent bulbs rather than LED; will the clear LED units generate a malfunction message?

No, I've been home, I just don't use the front door. I've been waiting and waiting, and it was here.
