My AC/Heater issue

Hey guys,

I had my AC/Heater spazz out twice on me these past 2-3 months.

I had the Windspeed at about 3-4 and all of a sudden the wind just stops blowing. This happened twice with the AC on at around 65-70 degrees (during the summer/fall) and happened yesterday in the blistering cold, with the AC off, at around 75 degrees or so. Any clue what's happening?

Could be temperature sensor or blower motor? Only happened in Auto or also in manual?

I had to have my climate control unit replaced a few years ago becasue it would just stop working at times. It was summertime, so I was only using the A/C, but you'd be cruising along and it would just turn off for no reason. You could turn it back on just fine, but it would intermittently turn itself off. Hasn't happenned again since the climate cotrol was replaced. I mainly use 'auto', so not sure if it would do the same thing in manual mode...

I'm assuming the fan motor stops (rather than a vent flap in the wrong position). You can see the fan by looking in the hole above the battery after you remove the cabin filter. The fan should spin freely by hand....very little resistance.

hmm.... I'm gonna try out the "reset" position thing first, see if that works.
The fan stops, I assume, everything just stops, the climate control unit still works
