So i finally got the rear springs and shocks installed. I have not yet put the fronts on and my car drives so wired. Sport springs and shocks with amg rear sway in the back with worn out stock springs and struts at the front. lol hopefully in a week or two i can get the front finished.

btw, hurry up and do the fronts. It's generally not a very good idea to drive like how you have it right now because it throws up the handling characteristic too much. it can come back and haunt you if you got thrown into a emergency situation and the car doesn't react as how you would expect it.

So it made it to 150,000 miles lol
was driving it today and was driving the crap out of it and it is running as good as ever. I had one of those moments where you go how can life get any better have a perfect car great weather and a vanilla coke in the cup holder with some great music blasting

Coke Zero, Red Bull, Crystal Geyser bottled water.. hell even **** would be better than vanilla coke. Even.. *gasp* tap water would be better. (I'm aware of "studies" but tap tastes gross to me so spare me the rhetoric).

Glyn, I think it is just how I come off in typed word. Trey knows and Drew can vouch as we've met in person. It's just the tone of how I word things.
No doubt the fact that I send dozens of emails a day to stupid people who don't do as they're contracted (and then yell at me when they have issues) plays a part.

Trey here is mine this morning waiting to be loaded with hundreds of Atlanta Journal-Constitution papers. It's ~80 miles of very hard work on the car - lots of stopping, starting, opening/closing trunk, turning the car off and re-starts, etc. Needless to say that it was fun for about 30 seconds (and another crazy thing to say I've done with the C230) - today was the last day I'll substitute for my friend. It's a bit TOO hard on the car, IMO - and that means a lot coming from me.

Oh my God! - marriage LOL - sorry for the gap in response. I'm watching 4 episodes of Top Gear back to back - SA's satellite provider does these things.

. SLK55 rims are 18 inch so they are out i like my cheap 16 inchers. so that leaves your style or c32 amg rims. But i would prefer to not have a staggered setup since right now i can rotate front to back and have had no uneven wear issues. this is all just me bored thinking that next summer i want new rims ready to go.
