Ends in March 2010. Here is what I had done under the ELW

Sway bar bushings
Front strut bearings
Transmission overhaul (almost)
Rear drive shaft
Behr radiator
Xenon headlamp replaced


I think it may need a new battery, is that covered by ext warranty? I am not sure what else I should have looked at.

Battery is not covered. I had to pay 132 or so dollars, and it's a wear and tear item.

Just take it in and tell them everything is wrong and have them look for problems.
that is what i did at 99,989 miles

well when i got all the work done i took it to hagerstown (long Story). then i went to American service center in Arlington. but they pissed me off last time i went so i don't know where i will go next. my father always took his Mercedes to http://www.mooreautomotive.com/ and know takes his g8 and fj cruiser to them
actually my car is with them getting new tires on it and state inspection.

btw hbl sucks more than hagerstown and asc combined

Thanks. Not to hijack the thread, 'cause I'm interested in the original question, too.

I live in Vienna. Close to MB of Tysons. I've had work done at EuroMotors, and I like them. They are full retail, of course. I'm thinking of going to Silver Star, but haven't had direct experience with them yet.

It'll be the ELW action, too. So, back to the original questions, eh?

just go in and tell them warranty ending see what you can find
i would have the check all bushings, transmission connector, top of engine for oil leaks just forgot what they covers are called, is the trans shifting smoothly i would get the fluid changed if you are close to 100k , thats all i can think of at the moment.

Dealer found leaky valve covers and bad stepper motor. More to come...
