Yeah but 19s look so much better on the sedan IMO. I was looking at a pair of 18s as well but changed my mind because the look. And the 19s will look better with the red calipers poking out behind them. Im looking at General Exclaim UHP tires right now.

When I ran those tire sizes before I had problems...maybe it was because of my drop....but right now I am running yokohama S-Drives
225/35 in the Front and 255/30 in the Rear without any rubbing issues. But then again I am pretty low so maybe those tire sizes you provided will work for you. I was actually told by my local shop that specializes in MB's that these are the tire sizes I should be running...

I got them done at Ghost Motorsports for a great price for strip and paint. I bought them from one of the mechanics there and he has been hooking me up with great prices on everything. If you guys need stuff done you should check these guys out. They do great work. I cant wait to get these rims and calipers installed!!!

The rims are going to be powdercoated flat black but leaving the polished lip for now. Might go time attack red but not sure just yet. Installed pics wont be until next month sometime since the powdercoat takes a little bit of time and the guy is busy. Thanks guys.

You won't be disappointed with the Generals. I love them, and the cost so little. Your car's going to look great with red calipers.

Pick up wheels from powdercoating this friday. I will post pics once I have them mounted. Plan on doing calipers sunday. I think I might end up turning this thread into my own picture thread like a few people have. More pics to come.

I have used the General UHP's on a number of my cars including one of my former MB's and just an FYI from having owned so many of the brand-
They wear great because of the high silica content in the rubber. I think their treadwear rating is 380 or so.
They do have some sidewall flex as opposed to other tires, but still handle very well.
They are a great rain tire.
Keep your air pressure in the 35 lbs range to get the best of cornering and mph.
The set I ran on my other MB were staggered like yours, (18's- 225's/255's) but I did rotate the tires from rim to rim and side to side every 10k to keep the wear even and I got almost 40k out of them.
I found that if the wear gets uneven they have a tendency to get really loud with additional miles, so keep everything even if possible.
Good all around tire for a good price.
