Deal of the YEAR on C-Coupes
I just received a letter in the mail from them yesterday saying that they have 29 C230 coupes that were slated to go into their loaner car program but never did. They're brand new, with only roughly 30 miles on each odometer. The best part? They have a base C230 coupe for $19,900. They have one with an auto tranny and a sunroof for $21,990. They also have one with leather seats, CD player, and sunroof for $24,990! These deals are seriously amazing.
Supposedly all the cars come with the "new car" package, including the 50K warranty with free scheduled maintenance. I wish I could've gotten this good of a price when I bought mine

Anyway, I didn't mean this as an advertisement for EuroMotorcars, as I have no self-interest in seeing them procure more customers. Rather, I just thought that these deals were too good to keep to myself.

The offer supposedly expires March 31; if they ask who told you about it, tell them Tim Cheadle.
There goes my C-Coupe trade in value....
The C230K sedan seems farther and father away...
my 2002 coupe only worth for about $18k trade in value, while I was paying $34k including tax and license.
Sighhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

I work for an Independant Auto Auction who uses ***/Manheim Software and has access to the Market Report.
They had about 20 cars when I looked. All automatics with sunroofs. They had 2 black 6 speed manuals. One was a demo with about 600 miles. I passed on it. Later, they found me the "$19,900" car. It was a black 6 speed with no options added. I passed on that too as I was quoted $900 to get a CD changer installed and I don't like the black color because they are hard to keep clean and shine. Good experience overall. No pressure from the nice saleslady. Her name is Marilyn Mathis. Not much haggling allowed, price quoted was pretty much what they would sell. They only negative thing is that the car was sold as USED, although it has only 18 miles and never been titled. But at this price, I can live with that. So far, I love this car. It is a little sluggish probably because it is new, but it drives very nice when push hard. After I break in this car, I will be driving more aggressive with it. I have heard these cars are selling very fast at these discounts. I think they had about 15 left when I picked up my car last Tuesday.

It's strange to me that it was sold as used (or previously titled). Dealers normally don't title loaners even-they hate to do it. My car had 900 miles on it as a 'tryout' for one of their favorite customers, and was never titled. I would go back and get a CARFAX on it, just to see why it was titled with so few miles on it. Hopefully, you'll find it wasn't anything fishy. Just don't think that becasue you're dealing with an MB dealer that they're more on the up and up than any other dealer.

BTW-MB/dealers are screwing all of us on the resale value if they keep doing this. I'm going to an MB open house on Thursday and I'll talk to the corporate people there about it and see what they say.

What deals.
23K?
Wow.
I saw a lease for $199 in the paper the other day.
Oh well, I just plan on keeping my car.
But to think I coulda waited a year and saved 10 grand!
2/3 of what I paid. And for a Benz. Who coulda known.
Geez.
its probably just a gimmick to get rid of the extra car they ordered when the c-coupe was in demand and thought they would be able to sell them, little did they know that was just a hype.
So why did you choose to buy new and not snag one on auction? Just curious since I would love to be able to buy at auctions price for the car I am currently in search of.
None have gone through our auction as of yet. The numbers I have are from Manheim, we get our software from them. They have 79 auctions and have only seen 29 of these go through since they came out. So the numbers are not all that high, considering one of there autions runs over 10,000 vehicles a week and 15,000 on the last week of the month.
Is this a single auction on a single day of the week? 15000 in a 8 hr day is 1875 cars/hr or 31 cars/min. Even with 30 lanes running that is a car per min.
