Hey,
My remote key isnt unlocking the car, i tried changing the battery & nothing happened, its behavior is trully random, at best i suceed to open it from very close range (couple inches away from drivers door), and the rest of the time the red dot on the key flashes but i get no response from the car.
I have been told that i need to change the antenna located in the rear glass.. do you agree ?

See other threads running right now in this regard. You have IR working but no RF. No metalised tints, possible wires cut if tinted. Sticky pad has come unstuck at center of rear screen, antenna amplifier earth is faulty in LHS rear C pillar or antenna amplifier is blown.
