2005 C240 4-Matic | 2004 BMW 330Cic
^^^ A piece of the grille was missing from when someone backed into me, it has been replaced since then.
My slow 240. Got some C350 Sport wheels that are going to serve as my summer wheels.
Shes rough around the edges from the previous owner but I am slowly fixing her up

I have the same wheels. A previous owner must have replaced the original wheels. I like the appearance. I am curious whether they are lighter than the stock wheels.

I agree to space them out but its my daughters car and that just adds some complication if something happens.

Drove my 2003 C230 Kompressor with 310,000 miles across the USA from New Jersey to Montana and back on a road trip. I had it detailed inside and out right before the trip. I snapped a few pictures of it at Devils Tower, WY and Badlands National Park, SD. I hit the 310,000 mile mark AND the half a million km mark while on the trip! Now that I've returned home, just 7,000 miles to go until the next high mileage award
The trip did not come without issues though. The AC compressor seized near Billings, MT, and I had to get it towed to the dealership there. I believe the one I had installed by Firestone (a US auto repair and tire chain), which also left me stranded about 3 years ago, was just a cheap reman or aftermarket part. The engine idles much quieter now than it used to with the Firestone replacement.
Here's to another 310,000 miles!
Devils Tower
Badlands NP
500k km!
500k km!
Trip totals!

Picked this beauty up in Germany as my first ride since moving here earlier this year. 2006 W203 Mopf C200 Kompressor. Had done 120,000km when I picked her up, and the last owner did not even have it changed ownership to him. So, I became the 3rd Owner. I already changed the wheels from the stock 16" to 17" with Michelin CrossClimate 2 All Season tyres. The previous owner had Summer Tyres with DOT 2013, and Winter Tyres with DOT 1307. So had to change as the ride was so hard!!
Center wheel caps from MB pending (68mm unfortunately, so had to order a custom made one on eBay). Also planning to upgrade the music system to an Android based one, change the front grill to a SLK grill, and the matt logo on the bonnet. Having owned a 2001 -C200 CDI for 16 years in India (still runs with my dad), this is a fantastic, trustworthy car to have in the garage. Hope to see many more miles with us.
Back in India, I also own a 2001 W203 C200 CDI that has been with us for 17 years now. And I have had a 2001 W203 C180 Kompressor for 4 months, 2011 W204 C250 CDI for a couple of years, and a 2010 W212 E350 CDI for 4 years. Pretty much a Benz fanboy

Usually, I am not a fan of NON OEM wheels, but I think those look good, especially once you have the MB Centercaps installed!
Congratulations!

I have a similar after-market grill.
I decided to swap a flat badge for the raised hood star. I like the Mercedes 3-point star but having two of them in such close proximity seemed like overkill.
Enjoy your car. I'm glad to see someone else who is willing to spend some money on upkeep and modifications.

yes, I also have ordered a flat emblem for the slot above the bonnet. Should be here in a week or two 😀 It feels like a project car that will last the lifetime for me. Living in the Land of Mercedes, close to their HQ & working in Daimler Truck, 😀 Need I say more! 😉
Your car front looks amazing!! I decided to do away with the chrome as my door handles are already matt black(from the classic trim), and there’s no chrome elsewhere. The boot lid logos are next on the list!

ahh sorry mate i didn't see this until now. Idk why i didn't get a email or notification of your quotation which is strange for this forum. I ended up buying a Alpine - HCE-C1100 Back-Up Camera - Black, and with purchase they installed it for free at Best Buy last holiday season. I think this camera might be the highest quality for the price.
Ended up upgrading my steering wheel, drives amazing.

See post #6 in in this thread for some information on Back Up Camera
This thread shows how to route a power cable for an amp. You can use the same approach for running the cable for the camera from the dash to the trunk.
