If you look at the way the w203 lineup was setup in the USA from cheapest to most expensive you had C230, C240 C320. The C230 was marketed as the "sporty" model with bigger 4 piston brakes, lowered suspension, 17" wheels sport seats etc all standard. The more expensive C240 was somehow the entry level model and the even more expensive C320 was the luxury model which could be optioned with some of the "sport" package stuff at a very hefty premium. Still no sport brakes or bumpers... which again were standard on the c230. That's why your manual C320 sport is so incredibly rare. It was about $8k more than the C230 sport. It was all really weird marketing BS that was arranged by MBUSA for some reason. Anywhere else in the world the C320 could be had with the complete sport package, even on wagons and coupes. Oh yeah and MBUSA's sales and marketing people are in Irvine.

Sorry, not my cup of tea. There is only one brand that should have angel eyes, and that's not Mercedes.
Our older cars look way better with the original, OEM headlight. Way more classy.
I don’t care about the halos, I care about the projectors. They’re perfect for these light housing, much more handsome than the stock lights imo. Ymmv.
My wife would tend to agree with you. But also with Smart Cars, Miatas, Mini Coopers, VW's, muscle cars, etc. Pretty much anything with 4 wheels and an internal combustion engine. I kinda go through phases. Right now MB's have my attention.... SQUIRREL!

It fell into my lap actually... friend of mine owns a stereo shop. Took it in as payment for work... needed to turn it into cash. Made an offer I couldn't refuse now she's mine.
This is the "Official" C-Class Picture Thread. Please post all pictures of YOUR C-Class, do not post pictures of cars that are not owned by YOU. Do not post more than 2 pictures of your car. This is better than browsing all the different websites looking for C-Class pictures and going to all the different galleries and clicking on each picture and then hitting the back button! It will be nice to just come here and scroll down the page. Also please only post pictures of your C-Class, it doesn't matter if you own a C230, C240 or a C320! Let's try and keep this thread mainly pictures, and if you have a question about someones C-Class that you see please PM them.
Please note: We have a seperate forum for the C32 AMG, so if you own a C32 AMG, please post pictures of your C32 in the C32 forum which is located at the top of the main forum list.
Bought to replace old DD that keeps miles off the SLK.
140k miles
Just tuned it up likely for the first time (fuel filter, spark plug change, air filter, cabin filter, cleaned MAF, oil change, replaced dry-rotted intake tube, new trans conductor plate and blue top solenoids) RaceIQ tune for 91 octane
interior is amazingly clean and well preserved
Replacing speakers and eventually HU for something with Apple CarPlay
Exterior will be sorted this week with retint, replacing broken trim pieces, wheels, (18" multispoke AMG from the SLK) touch up paint, and paint correction
Suspension next week (control arms, shocks/struts, springs, steering stabilizer, sway bar bushes, engine/trans mounts)
Basically, a restoration. Should be a completely trouble-free daily.
