Still contemplating what is the best setup. thinking for a coilover, but the shipping cost still bother me. maybe at the end of the day, I'll just stuck with lowering springs.

Well, just do lowering springs..I bought Eibach springs and Bilstein Shocks for my mom's C200 and it rides perfect, not too stiff and not too soft with 19s. I did cut 3/4 coil on the fronts and 1/2 coil on the rears as a result 1 3/4 finger gaps all around

I also recommend lowering your car. Nice rims, but it looks a bit too high....about 2 inches too high. Doesn't look right proportionally. Good effort though. And to make your car shiny, use POLISH. Wax is only for protection. It's polish that makes it perty. Good luck, have fun and let's see some new pics as you move on with the mods.

just registered here and I wanted to show my mercedes 2.2 cdi from belgium





Specs:

Rial daytona Race 2 pieced wheel
8.5" in front with 215/40/18
9.5" back with 245/35/18

dropped 4.5 cm in front
dropped 3.5 cm back

If I want I can drop 1.5 cm in front, but then I need to place a 1 cm spacer

What do you guys think

Dont' worry about people like that. The whole AMG discussion has been played out in other threads and some people just don't understand that there are other things labeled AMG other than engines. By the way, it's more than just the kit on the sports editions.
