Also, on US cars with DRL as an option, the voltage output also drops to dim the lights, just like on the Canadian models (although some members on the forum insist that on certain model years in the US this was not true )

I received them too about a week ago, but haven't had a chance to install them. 55W @ 6000K.
Did you buy and install the error eliminators as well? Did you get error messages?
I hoping my car is one of those where HID's just work with the error eliminators without flickering or setting Xenon = Present!

@ JCNASH,
Yeah i got the DDM 55W slim kit.
If i get a chance this weekend, I will swap the kit with my 35 w VVME non slim in to see if that makes any difference, Because I did tell my mechanic to set the option with his snap on modus.

You need the H7 bulbs for the headlights and the 9006 type bulb for the fog lights.
In the future you can also find the necessary info here http://www.sylvania.com/ConsumerProd...lacementGuide/

I'm usually not up at 1am to answer your questions...if it was really as urgent as you seem to make it out to be, you shouldve searched the forum. This question has been answered several times in the past 2 weeks alone.

Also, havoc, posting a question in a thread and then starting a new thread on the same stuff is pretty annoying. All that wasted effort and the answers were at your fingertips. Instead, the board is cluttered with yet another HID post. That makes about 3 million this week.
