Installed 5000k HID (w/ video)
Hey guys, I just installed my HID kit and figured I'd pop a video and some photos of it up.
The kit is a digital kit assembled in japan and is 5000K. I've used this kit on my coupe and here it is on my sedan.
A very special thanks to Roland and Karo on this too.

The kit I used was made by ONEX/Ibite. They are assembled in Japan and come with digital ballasts.
I've also attached a screenshot from a video of my totaled C230k w/ the same kit. It's just before sundown so the light isn't represented well though. sorry.
oh i just found this one too. lol

Looks great Mike! I looked into the ONEX HIDs as well but found them to be pretty expensive ($150), the ones that other forum members are recommending on this forum are around $30-$50, however some seem to have problems (with or without error eliminators). Personally, I would be more willing to spend extra and have less problems. Where did you purchase yours from and were they around that price range ($150)? Thanks in advance.

you didnt run into any error codes with the 35(onyx brand) you used?
as mentioned earlier, id rather pay more and avoid any error codes than have that issue to run into.

I ran the kit for a day by testing it at random intervals without any error or flickering. The next day, I met with Karo to do the xenon=present to avoid variable error that may (tho it shouldn't) arise

Looks good Mike. I never did Xenon=Present but for some reason I recently started to get errors. I did the Xenon=Present and the errors went away. Maybe the error cancelers went bad?
Anyway it all worked out well. I believe Roland was having this issue too. Out of no where he started to get errors. I did his Xenon=Present and I hope it solved it.

Yah, I've tried the cheaper 30-40$ kits before without digital ballasts and always ran into some sort of problem whether it was flickering, or error codes. When I went to ONEX over a year ago, I never got any errors. One thing to note was that I installed the error canceling capacitor on the coupe and Karo did the xenon = present for my sedan just as a secondary precaution. I never got the errors and never had any instances where I'd get flickering or only one light to turn on.
I've actually helped dozens of friends switch to ONEX for xenon and bi-xenon upgrades and these seem to be the way to go. We've done them on everything from a Ducati Superbike, a few BMW (650, 840, E92/90), G35s, and lexus/hondas/nissans galore...

look great i love oem look. the w204 guys are lucky they all have projectors that look good and have good beam pattern. i do get a lot of comments on my bix about how they look to much like halogens. everyone seems to think that they should be really blue like ricer blue or at least have the blue glow like the bmw's.
