c240 cylinders problem
Hi guys,
This is my first post / subject so hello everybody!
I do have some problems with my w203, c240 2,6 MB.
About 8 months ago engine check icon appeared so I went to my mechanic. He said that the catalytic converter is down but I can ride with it for some time.
For few months it was normal, but then it got worse. Car lost its power.
Few days ago I speeded up on the cold engine. Rpm's jumped to 5-5,5k but car has not gained the speed. After that a half of cylinders (3) just turned off and when I stopped on the lights, MB was shaking. So I turned it off, then launched and it was ok.
This situation happened again..
Today I cut 2 of 4 catalytic convertors (one was broken). Car gained some power, but cylinders are still turning off when I'm trying to gain speed rapidly.
Can someone please advise me.. what to do?

Many things can cause this problem. To stop guessing please get an OBDII scanner & plug in under the steering column to read codes. Please tell us which codes are stored. Good luck
