For $33784???
The salesman say it is $500 over invoice..

if you are adding in california tax, then that is probably pretty close to reality. Sounds right to me.
It is brand new.
Shoot, it will lose 10 grand while driving it out of the parking lot, but cars are not investments...

2003 C230 Kompressor Coupe
I got a fantastic deal from Shaver MB in Fort Wayne end of last month. I called about a used coupe but it had a 6 speed and I wanted an auto-stick. He said he one exactly like it but a 2003 with auto. Listed for $31 but he said they would make me a deal if I bought it before the end of the month because they wanted to clear their lot. I said I really didnt want to spend that much for what would be a second car-a weekend toy. He replied he would call me back with an offer so I figured maybe $29 or $28 but he said I could have it for $24,700. I about soiled myself then recovered and said put my name on it. I drove down (from Lansing Michigan) the next weekend and picked it. What a fun car!
I can email the invoice to anyone who is interested and maybe use it as a bargaining tool.
By the way my local dealer wouldnt make any deal at all-their loss.

Dunno... The post he refers to is clearly talking Coupe.
Anyhow, the '03 coupe does indeed have C3, it just is not an option BECAUSE its STANDARD equipment.

The invoice price on that car is $32,684.
I wish people would stop using out the door prices. They are meaningless when comparing cars. Taxes are different, documentation fees are different, some places charge advertising fees and some don't. Please subtract these items when posting prices.

i guess there will be some variation between states, but mine is about the same minus the heated seats. I got mine for 27.800 before tax. Plus i work for the dealer but they still made a few bucks on it.

I ordered my thru SOCal dealer. The saleman had to add AIG which is $600. He said that is the dealer cost. Than $500 over the invoice which make the car $1100 over invoice total. The car is about to start production so I will have my car by June. Oh yeah I used cars.com to select my dealer.
