Interesting suspension facts about a W203......*edited*
The gaps between the tire and fenders are the following:
Front Left: 1.5 inches
Rear Left: 1.0 inches
Front Right: 1.0 inches
Rear Right: 0.75 inches
What could be causing this? It appears the entire front suspension is off....
Is it a pads issue, a spring issue, or what?
Also, when I drive up a sharp incline, once the pavement levels out at the apex of the ramp, I always hear a "creaking" sound, like you would hear if you have an old mattress and sit down hard.
Is this related to the first issue, or is this yet another issue?
Thanks!

Nevermind.......just found out that this is completely normal, lmao....
I was told by a friend that German cars on stock suspension are not supposed to be even all around.
The driver's side is always a bit higher than the rest of the car, to compensate for the weight of the driver.
I guess when I measured the ride height a year ago, I got the measurements a bit off....
Also, a full tank of gas factors into why the rears sit unevenly as well....

Weather sometimes plays an issue too but that's all up to your springs. Quad (another member on the forum) tells me that his car sits lower on cold days vs warm days.

It's true. I even heard from another member that offsets between the R/L side of the car is different also.
Albert @ TWS pointed that even though he set my coils to even all around, the drivers side will look like it's saggin on one side.

If what people are saying is in fact true then it would be your passenger side that is saggy and not your driver's side. I'm still not convinced. But then again I have a 204 and not a 203.

sags from the weight of engine, or on purpose to offset the weight of having a driver in there, not sure which way on these cars though, but i know in my lexus IS250 that the.... shoot, cant remember which side either, i think the passenger side, was about a 1/4 inch lower than the driver side, no big deal really.. if your that concerned but some weights in the back seat on the higher side? or just park on non-level roads lol

since the w203's engines are mounted longitially, the engine is less of a factor versus a fwd engine where it sits on one side of the engine bay.
Yes the driver side will sit lower because your adding 150-200lbs to one side because of the driver. Mercedes tried to compensate a bit by putting the 50lb battery on the passenager side.
On my coil overs i have the driver side set a little higher then my passenger side.
