i have spoken to ben over at evosport about the kit for the c230.... and i have all but decieded its a good thing, and i want one ![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
i also have found a shop in northeast PA that specializes on german car tuning, although i lost their number. I will stop by their shop and check out install costs for tuning kits, HID kits, etc etc.
if the shop looks good (i saw an e class they did, and it looked GREAT) then i will order promptly

Out Of Control!!
As Benzomontery pointed out in a previous post, for Mercedes to void your warranty simply because you added a particular part is illegal. If you had any problems, and most likely with Kleemann parts you never will, Mercedes would have to prove that the problem was caused soley by the Kleemann upgrade and nothing else. As many are starting to see, Kleemann is a highly reputable company, and does not make its business off of simply pushing performance parts. Kleemann mixes performance with comfort and reliablity. If I were worried about the quality and reliability of their products, I would not be putting their supercharger on my car.

Check this thread out... We have knocked this around time and time again. Drew (Our moderating attorney) feels that in the long run, Mercedes will win the battle if you really need to start invoking the Magnusson Moss act. Who knows... It's an interesting read though....

Why do we have to buy a pulley for $900, why can't we get together as a group, find a machine shop and have a dozen or so pullies made for about $900 (that's for the dozen or so), then find the next size MB belt and 4 coller spark plugs at Pep Boys do it ourselves. Let me know if any of you are interested in Kleemann Klone Pullies and I'll look into it.

C230 Kompressor
Please count me in! A 20% increase in horsepower and torque would be AMAZING for this fine automobile.

Great!!!
I don't know much about Kleemann, but did call them and spoke to someone about the boost kit. I'm interested in it. How come they don't offer an exhaust with the kit?

C230 Coupe ex system
KLEEMANN has rear mufflers for the C Coupe. The rear mufflers are $635, installation is quite simple, taking less than an hour.
Its a funny trick people play when they "include" a rear muffer in a $3200 pulley kit.

warranty
I have never had a problem with my Mercedes warranty.
I have done a Kleemann supercharger system, Kleemann
suspension, Kleemann wheels and Kleemann rear muffler.

I think we get ripped off when we same mods for MB. My sons have an Acura Integra and Honda Civic Ex. The performance parts they buy and the added Hp, cost no were near what MB mods cost. Example, to lower the C230 your looking at $1000.00 plus, most other cars you could get the suspension and exhaust system plus. Guess it's all in the name. oh well

You can lower the C with H&R springs. Evosports quoted me about $259 for the 4. It shouldn't take more than an hour labor to put them on. I don't know what they cost for Hondas but I know that for my Suzuki dirt bike a single spring can cost $100 and it's smaller than the car springs. Now if you are creative you can cut the factory springs for the cost of a hacksaw blade.
