Most people tend to go H&R. You've got plenty of options. Depends how low you'd like to go.

Most people who mod their cars lower them, and sport their images in the C-Class Picture Thread, stickied at the top of the W203 forum of this site. Sift through there, it's some real eye-candy.

Yo Art,

Welcome to the forum. Post up some pics of your ride.

Most people go with coilovers because they can adjust their ride height while with springs it is what it is. The problem is coilovers range from 1k - 3k. I'm guessing you have the luxury C350. Those tend to be much higher than the sport C350. I say hold off till you have enough money (don't know if you already do) and get coilovers. Your car will handle better as well.

Nice

I have created this thread about maintenance.

I'm not dropped yet. I want to wait and collect more and get coilovers. Whoever I talk to tell me forget the springs and save up money for coilovers.

As for repairs we also have this. These are the instruction the dealer techs follow

if you want to go springs check H&R or i believe Tein also makes springs for our car, not certain on that though
but also as said, the best route is coilovers, but they are much more expensive

i was going to get coilovers but i decided to be cheap and just get H&R springs, yeah coilovers are amazing, but i have no regrets! The drop is sick ( about 1- 1.25 fingers lol), the handling is AMAZING, and the ride is really nice!
It would be nice to adjust them, but having spent 10-15% of the price of just the coilovers to get the springs and install them, they are perfect!

I think that's with his spring setup. Before he had the coilovers he had springs that were cut.
Patrick, how did the c/o install go anyway? I've been working and haven't been able to follow up.

These are H&R springs that they cut. So it's not stock H&R.

correction. cut TEIN springs. if you notice the front is not the same height with the rear. thats because the struts im using are not the sport struts. if i were given the chance to use sport struts then it would be slammed all around.

coils are coming on friday. spoke to them yesterday afternoon.

oh and BTW, i was talking to richard the other day(monday) aka milkman.. i was telling him my car felt so freaking diff that day.. and it still is.. reason: my struts finally blew out on me! lol! they have been through H&R springs and TEIN almost their whole life except the time i had the H&R c/o and now they finally blew out on me. steering feels so sluggish on the freeway. lmao! perfect timing....

Karo, what size are those rims? they are nice btw, Enkei?

What about Euroteck springs? I don't know anybody using them and I'm curious, Euroteck says 1.6" front and rear, thats lower than H&R no?

ArtG,

Welcome to the forum btw.

edit: just to add. the TEIN cut springs are the best ive tried so far. i dont get any body roll at all. the H&R springs and c/o swing left to right.

For more information on which springs to get, pictures, install...do a search wusing the search function. Since the W203 has been around since 2001, you will see that this topic has been covered completely, hence, any of your questions can probably be answered.
