On my coupe, I've got rusting on both sides on the flat panel just before the rear wheels, which would be abotu that same location on your rear doors.

Haven't had it priced out yet, but hate that it's going to have to be done.

Ever since I had my leather done 7 years ago, my driver's side panel in the rear (to the left of the rear seat) hasn't clipped in. Haven't investigated it - anyone know how that's supposed to clip in place? There is a plastic part on the metal side of the panel that I can see something must clip into, but there's nothing on the leather side of the panel that it's supposed to clip into, I'd assume.

needless to say i cant afford to fix the rust so i will attempt to do it myself. I did fix one of the doors last year and it turned out alright. Not noticeable unless pointed out. I will probably do the other doors next week.

To keep it going... c230k 200

My mirror turn lights work.. But the dash says it's not working.. So the annoying message pops up like 50x a day..

My mirror doesn't return back to position when I shift to D.

My door grips are broken as well..

Does anyone have the crayon smell? Mine comes from the seats.. I think.. I searched for crayons but none to be found.

I hit 100k today.. Who has the most mileage on their c230k is what I would like to know..

Happy driving

There's an 05 C230K with over 200k owned by a member who doesn't post here that often. From everything he's posted, his car has been extremely reliable.

2002 Coupe with 125,000 miles. Only two problems and neither are big.

When I open the sunroof past halfway, a metal piece sticks up. It would catch and prevent closing. I would have to have someone close the roof while I hold the piece down (making sure not to catch my finger). I just don't open the sunroof past halfway and everything is fine. Mercedes quoted me $400 to fix.

My right turn signal doesn't stay on.

Other than that, my car has been one of the most reliable cars I've owned.

Just hitting 124,000 now, with no significant problems, but a long list of little things that have been fixed.. No complaints and going strong.

50,596 on my 05 C230K SS. I know it's not the "most" mileage, but why not throw out there who's got the least amount of mileage on their W203's.

^ That is normal, as you are on the right side of the road. Many roads have a raised "crown" on the centreline for drainage.

Easily fixed by installing the camber/caster bolts and adjusting caster to be more positive on the passenger side, typically by 1 degree.

Yes! I thought I was crazy, but for the last year my car has a had a funky smell in the interior after it sits for a night. Kind of like crayons now that you say it.

If you find a way to get rid of it, let me know! I have tried febreeze and have even rubbed it into the seats...sometimes it smells like its coming from the trunk to me.

Other than that, no problems at all! I'm only at 45k though on an 05 c230k ss
