Check out Conversion Techniques Inc., in Oakland, (9845 Bigge Street/510.639.0911). $799 for the part & $200 - $300 for labor. They do have to order the kits which takes a few days & they are offical Kleemann dealer. Hope the info. helps!

does that kit really claim 30 additional HP?
....do you how much you would have to spend in stupid bolt-ons just to get half that on a dyno IF you had no frced induction.....hmmmm....too much.....probably enough to be able to afford a C32
thank god or MB for KOMPRESSOR

Actually from all the dyno's I've seen, except Kleemann's high altitude testing, I have never seen 38 HP gain and if anyone who's purchased any pulley kit can show us all a dyno that shows anywhere near this sort of gain please publish it.
Realistically, if you can get 30 HP from any pulley kit (and no other mods) you are doing really great. I've seen gains as little as about 19 HP to as much as 28 HP and that's crank, not wheel HP. Now a 38 ft-lbs torque gain, yes, that's very doable. What it translates to in the real world is a 1 second improvement in 1/4 mile runs and that's impressive for a $250 mod to your car.

Let me dig around in our stack of Dyno's. I know I've got one from a C-Coupe showing 199.9 wheel HP after the KLEEMANN over-boost kit. I just have to find it, so I'll post it when I do.

[B]Actually it's more like 38 HP, and 30 lbs/ft of torque. Not much? Try getting that kind of gain with a chip- it just won't happen. The Over-Boost kits provide the most bang for the buck period. The All-Alloy kit is priced at $899.00, and installation varies depending on where you have it installed.
Does that kit include EVERYTHING I need, or are there other mods I'll have to do to make it work right? (once it's available)
And does that automatically void your warranty?
I heard Kleeman is the way to go, is that true?

The best way to go for you is back to the dealer for a C320 coupe. No pulley kits for the '03 C230 yet from any brand and may never be despite what some people have you believing.

I quoted him those numbers, because every shop labor rate in the country is different. For instance: Our labor rate in Colorado is $75/Hr, where the labor rate in NY is $125/Hr. We do not dictate installation price, since every state is different.

Do Kleemann has recommended labor hours for the dealers? All car manufacturers publish recommended labor hours for various fixes, say changing timing belt is 2 hour, install plugs is 1/2 hour etc.
Labor hour is an hour of labor, no matter you install the pulley kit or you install supercharger or you install wheels
I suspect that since Kleemann price their pulley kit low compared to the supercharger kit there is not much "meat" to eat from dealers thus they have to inflate the labor hour charge

I suspected Topline probably gave him a break on labor to promote Topline
