Good price for 01 C320 Super low miles
Hey, I was hoping you all could give me an idea of what a good price would be for an absolutely perfect 01 c320 with only 11k miles on it? It actually still has the new car smell and has never seen rain or snow or anything else for that matter. It is a glacier white with charcol interior so it is a standard color vehicle. It's hard for me come up with a good idea of what a good price would be, appreciate any help. The reason I ask is a recently sold a prestine sportbike and think I went too low as someone bought it to immediately sell for quite a bit more. I don't feel I got a bad deal on the bike but I learned that KBB isn't really very accurate on thier value assessings.

I can't help you with pricing details, but that's extremely low miles for a nine year old car. Low miles are good, but you must remember that cars are made to be driven. Cars that sit too long are actually worse than cars that are driven regularly and are maintained properly. If there's nothing wrong with the car and it was just a weekend car, etc, I say go for it!

Depends on how many of the engineering changes have been installed. The list is VERY long and it would be expensive to do them out of warranty. Worst year ever for the model in terms of failures but reliable after fixes. What's the reason for the low miles?

Thanks for the responses, maybe I got lucky but there is absolutely nothing wrong with this car mechanically, oh I take that back, the only thing wrong is sometimes the rear windor shade sticks "up" but then again not sure many people even use that. I hear you about a car sitting too much, this car has been a nice weather weekend driver and when driven to work, I am only 2 miles from house so not adding many miles there.
I am trying to fiqure out what a dealer would ask for this car & price it accordingly. I'm not in any hurry to sell it and don't really care if I do.
Thanks gang,

the best way would be to look around for ppl already selling it and figure out a mean price. now add a couple grand because of the condition you kept it in. then subtract 20% of what you added because of the garage queen status. (im just giving really rough off the top of the head numbers)

Sounds like you drive it to work (pretty often) ? Its not like the car hasnt seen use in its 10is years. Sounds like it just wasnt driven much. Any gue under the oil cap?

No gue/ gunked up oil under the cap, have also kept up with oil changes, obviously not every 3 months but it has had more oil changes then probably any other vehicle out there for the miles. There is no dry rot on tires, hoses, belts. Not a door ding or scratch.
Like I said, I can certainly understand the others position regarding garage queen status but I personally would pay a premium for that, I have been looking for a Porsche that has been just as babied, I can easily find a garage queen Ferrari, Lambo etc.

The thing is that a ton of short trips and a lot of just sitting still are horrible for cars. I can see getting a garage queen supercar (as you'll probably still be driving it very little) but not a C320. Whoever buys your C320 will probably be driving it much more than you have. I bought a garage queen Acura 3.2TL in 2005 (it was a 2002 model with very little miles) and I drive 31,000 miles a year and it went on to have a ton of issues.
Regular, long highway trips keeps an engine clean and healthy. Really short trips of a few miles here and there have the opposite effect.
