Hey all:
The April issue of Mercedes Enthusiast features the C-Class (both the W202 and W203). There is about 30+ pages covering different articles. Havent read it yet, but should be really good.
These issues are from the UK, so might be hard to find. I have seen issues in Tower Records and Barnes & Nizobles.

Anyone in Canada know where I can get this magazine? More specifically in the GTA?
Also, what other magazines are out there for MBs? I bought a copy of Benzo (most recent issue), but it didn't really give me much in the way of advertising (eg. aftermarket products, modifications)...any other suggestions?

Great Canadian News at BCE Place. They have a great selection of European (incl. German, French and Italian texts) car magazines.

Sorry, but IMHO, it's a lame article. Like 2 pages of text with a couple of pics of some stock C Classes.
No pics of the new AMG C Coupes (3.0 CDI and 3.2 Kompressor), or any pics of C coupes for that matter.
I kept the $8.50 + tax it would have cost.
But I DID read the article about the new AMG 65
(was it E or S class?) with over 600 HP stock, and ~750 Ft lbs of torque!
Wow. And only ~ $150K! Damn! Forgot my checkbook!

I saw it at Borders books.
It's an OK article, but God theres so much you could write, but they didn't say anything we hadn't heard before.
I'd like to see a REAL article, done by someone willing to really do some legwork. Show some early prototypes, and drawings.
Interview the people involved. What challenges did they face getting Benz to go for it? What compromises were they forced to make?
I recall a (drawn) pic in Sport Car Internation of what became the C230 coupe years ago, like 1999. Too bad I threw it out.
Wheres the history? Who were the stylists? Who's vision shaped the Sports Coupe and the W203? It's styling while having the basic lines of other things out there, sings with it's curves, and screams of some Italian carrozaeria getting involved. Personally I think ItalDesign had a hand in it, but every article I ever see is the same **** rehashed.
Gimme some REAL dirt! Something I haven't heard before!
