Ok my 2003 c240 4matic wagon alternator died i need my car now but nobody has the alternator

but a local salvage yard has one from a 2003 clk500 they along with 3 different alternator shops claim it will fit/work

I HAVE YET TO REMOVE MINE to compare the clk one is the same part # it is 150amps bosch

do any of you guys know????

got my old one out the #'s on the voltage regulator are the EXACT same......

I believe the 11 is refurbished and 12 is not or the other way around. It should work.

well the new one is refurbished as its got the remanufactured in britian sticker on the side

all done just charging up the battery before i hook it back up and see what fun codes i might get.......

$85.00 canadian with lifetime warrenty

rebuilt was 185.00+ depending on the shop and nobody had one i would have had to pull mine and drop it off for 2 days....i need my car so wreckers it was Im going to take the old one apart and ill rebuild it

NO errors or codes when i started it back up going for a quick hwy run now....

well so far all seems good in dyno mode voltage at idle is 14.1 and over 2k rpm is 14.3-14.5 with all power except headlights off

so what voltage should my car run at???

when 1st started its at 14.4/.5 then drops to 14.3 or so stays there there even when i turn everything on IE defroster heated seats ect

I think thats a low price Alternator repair record!
I did it for 150 rebuilt....but it failed and i had to get it repaired again,
under warranty, but not the labor or driving back and forth.
I found a shop that did it in 2 hours...
