Hi EVERYONE!!! IM NEW ON MBWORLD, I JUST BOUGHT A 08 C300 AND ITS NOT EQUIPED WITH GPS. IS IT POSSIBLE FOR ME TO INSTALL ONE FROM MERCEDEZ? AND ALSO HOW CAN I CONECT MY IPOD ON THIS CAR? PLEASE LET ME KNOW

I'd have to say that you will be looking at quite alot of money. In the 204, it's not just the head unit like it is in our cars. The iPod from Mercedes will be expensive as well. For us, new, from the dealer, it's somewhere around $300. The one in the 204s is different, with multiple inputs such as usb and headphone jack. I would definitely post in the other section... and please find the CAPS LOCK KEY!!!

I'd have to say that you will be looking at quite alot of money. In the 204, it's not just the head unit like it is in our cars. The iPod from Mercedes will be expensive as well. For us, new, from the dealer, it's somewhere around $300. The one in the 204s is different, with multiple inputs such as usb and headphone jack. I wasn't trying to discourage anything!!! I was just saying that it will be expensive. I just assumed that, since the head unit is completely integrated into the center console, with different components everywhere, that it would be more difficult and more expensive.

Are you serious?? They sell the complete system with the top cover and everything you need that was pulled off a car. What do you mean it's different?

If your going to hook up the ipod kit you might as well get the Mercedes GPS too and knock them out at the same time.
