Driver's door panel removal

Any tips on removing a drivers door panel? My door pull has come loose on the top, so I probably need to pull the entire door apart to fix that. Before I start taking it apart, just thought I would ask for any tips. This is on a 2005 C230 sedan. Thanks in advance for any tips!!

Hermosa.

Hi,

Does anyone have an expanded view of the window switches and how to remove the shell surrounding them? It almost appears that it can be pryed off (without door panel removal), but I don't want to attempt that without knowing that it can be snapped back in place.

Thank you.

The plastic trimming surrounding it? I took it off recently (had to replace my drivers side window since someone decided to break it). Snaps off and clicks back on.

Hi Seagel,

The part I mean is essentially the "chrome" part (attached picture) in it's entirety, or failing that, taking out the black switch itself.

Thanks,

Thanks,
they are held on by T8 or T6 screw from the back. you can't remove them without removing the door panel.

haha man its soooo easy though...literally takes 5 minutes to remove the door panel...i promise I did it today w/ only looking at the pictures on the computer before heading out there...I have some incessant rattling in my door when the right freq comes over the speaker and it is driving me insane so I decided to check it out on my own. Of course Its not simple and turns out to be behind a part of the door that is metal and not foam thus I can't reach it (super cool). So i put her back together in about 10...(took me a bit longer this time because its a lil tricky getting the locking pin back through the hole but that is all (seriously not a big item).

Yeah i'm not bothered about taking apart the door (already pulled apart the dash and center console before) - I only wanted to take it apart to clean the switches (yes, sad i know)!!!
