Bike Rack on a W203 Wagon?

I have an '04 C320 Wagon. I need a bike rack that can handle up to 3 bikes. I don't think I can do the roof rack, as some bikes are just too heavy for me to get up there.

What options exist for a rear bike rack for my Wagon?

Thank you.

Help? Anyone? I need to transport some bikes in the coming weeks, and would deeply appreciate the assistance.

Thank you.

I've used an old Hollywood (fold-a-rack) on the back of my '02 C320 Wagon. Worked fine, but I don't know about putting 3 bikes back there. I can take a pic if you need.

I'd actually like to get a roof rack if anyone knows of one.

2005 C Wagon (No snickering please!)
It's only in America that we put our bikes in the car to take them somewhere to ride.

Swing into REI. They can advise you which options will work with your car. The Yakima High Roller is nice because you don't need to take off the wheel.

Good Luck!

yeah check out yakima or thule for some options on bike racks... also I'd go to your local bike shop and see what they suggest. I have a yakima roof rack with the copperheads ( have to take off front wheels ). Takes no time putting them on and taking them off the racks.

my only suggestion would be the ones like they sell at target that strap to your rear lift gate, but mine only held 2 and if you accidentally used the rear wiper you would break it.

You could get a hitch mounted one, of course that requires a hitch to be present or installed, but would also be an option.

Thanks for the replies. Off on a road trip now, but will go into REI and a couple bike shops on return home. This has been very helpful.

Happy 4th of July to all the Americans here. (Condolences to the Brits!)
