Nothing special required. If you are not going to suck the oil out of the engine then you need a new crush washer for the drain plug & a new drain plug or you need to apply a sealant to the old plug. You also need the large cup socket to remove the oil filter.

There are a number oil change DIY's in the stickies ^ at the top of the forum.

No Fleece filter in Canada for the M271, we get the same as what is supplied to the US (paper) as I bought them both north and south of the border, though we get ripped off as they are double the price here, hence why I buy them in the US when I am there
