2002 Silver c32
headlight wandering
I have a 2002 c32 with the hid lights. I hit a bump in the road now the passenger headlight wanders to the left when I give it the gas and hit other small bumps. Any ideas or do I need a new light?

Wandering eye eh.. HAHAHAH.. sorry, I just can't help myself. Sounds funny when I pictured it.
On a serious note. Sorry, I can't help. Don't have that feature in my car. I don't think any c230 owners has this as stock oem. Perhaps the c240 and up owners?

They only came on C32s C55 and optional on 05+ W203 of any engine. They also had frosty BIX which I think is what a C32 has and was optional on all 01-04 W203s.
Only thing I can thing is a mount became loose and snapped, Check that the bulb is properly seated is all I can think of?

if you have a projector then maybe the projector came loose inside the housing but if you have a reflector type xenon than maybe its a loose bulb.
It could be loose bulb for both types. Seems really odd that it veers left only.

The 2002 C32 would have a standard frosty HID that has auto-level. It should move up and down only, not side to side. Make sure nothing is loose.

Either a tab has broken on the light assembly. Or the Xenon dipping assembly in the light is bust or the self leveling sensor arm is broken or the sensor clamp on the LHS of the front sway is loose or broken.
